Introduction to Legacy Project

The European Social Label wants to change the world and create a more inclusive society. Here on the page about our LP's, Legacy Projects, it's about projects and impact at a higher level with genuine social change, but for the sake of that, don't miss the small details. It is also about creating an impression and a legacy to be remembered for in the future. Here, it is still the membership for small business owners that is the basis and it is from a "dooer" perspective that we work with the projects, even if many projects have a longer or larger target picture.

EUOS - Europe Our Society

European Social Label builds three mini-communities in Sweden! The three societies must, as far as possible, avoid being financed by the state and the municipality, and the goal is to measure the impact goals that are expected to be created when small businesses can also participate and work for a better society. 

It starts in Sweden, but the goal is that as the business expands, more, similar, communities will emerge both in Sweden as well as the EU. Of course adapted to each country's laws and regulations. The European Social Label has deliberately not spoken out to any great extent regarding environmental issues, there are other and significantly more organizations that know this better. However, it is stated that these communities must not only be climate-neutral or sustainable, but also climate-positive, and surplus electricity and water generated must be donated to surrounding municipalities.

EUOE - Our Europe

In Swedish, the project is called Vårt Europa and should reflect how the European Social Label can be involved in developing the already existing system. The aim is simply that the current system, which is outdated and above all inefficient, can also be improved. The politicians cannot do this themselves. EUOE is in a way the flip side of the coin called EUOS.

Collective

Collectiva is a perspective in the project and is an industry-independent employer organization for members. Companies are treated in many cases as something dragged in by those who do not understand business and here a stronger common front must be created. Being industry-independent was a given from the beginning, as the entire business is about taking down walls.

KUFF

Kuff is the other perspective and stands for Cooperative Union Companies and Associations and is a trade union organization for employees of members of the European Social Label. An industry-independent trade union organization with the same rules for everyone, regardless of the industry you are active in, felt natural when Collectiva does the same for the entrepreneurs.

Swedish Welfare

Swedish Welfare is the third perspective in EUOS and is the European Social Label's political party. Politics collects the most and the best from the classic right/left scale but otherwise considers itself to be outside the scale as such. Today's policy is about the distribution of available funds, while we believe that with CaaB it is possible to combine most things.

Northern Macedonia

Since autumn 2021, EUSL has worked for North Macedonia to enter the EU. The country struggles with high unemployment and great poverty, but at the same time is very well located, sandwiched between Greece, Bulgaria and Albania. EUSL invests in building up the country from within by procuring several projects with companies from the EU, carrying out labor market policy programs and projects linked to a main project in order to create jobs. By definition a real Legacy Project!

EUSL Research Centre

In 2022, thoughts began to add research both to our own projects as well as members' projects. The aim is that it should lead to a stronger final product that stands out against the competition. Furthermore, there are also great opportunities to find other financial support to develop the business further if there is evidence-based basis for what you are applying for. The EUSL Research Center is expected to be linked to universities both in Sweden and abroad and will be launched in 2023.

The African Union and Agenda 2063

The work with North Macedonia led during the summer of 2022 to the African Union catching the eye of the EUSL was at a presentation about the work and the proposals made so far were implemented. The aim is to copy the arrangement from North Macedonia and apply it to the African Union and adapt it according to their Agenda 2063. Africa is expected to develop at an enormous pace and contribute the world's largest workforce in just over ten years and faces many challenges until then.
